As part of our aftersales service, we inspect and offer upgrades of existing plant to bring them up to the latest technology and/or process.
This American customer asked us to update the salt system on their existing machines as the original system was nearly 25 years old. We installed our stainless hygienic linear rails to help increase control of their salting system, and reduce the maintenance required of the system on the machine.
The install was designed to reuse as many of their salting system parts as possible. The new rail and control system upgrade was able to installed in a single routine 12 hour shut, leading to no requirement for extra downtime to perform the upgrade.
