Another machine upgrade, this time for a customer here in New Zealand. After a breakdown on existing older equipment, IDS was approached to survey the plant and identify areas in need of replacement, repair or upgrade.
It was found that the older style curd mill had come to the end of its service life and had several areas that would cause product contamination issues if it were to fail. Taking advantage of the opportunity, the customer chose to replace the existing mill with an upgraded IDS QuadCut mill, the latest in curd cutting technology. This eliminated any potential product contamination issues, and gave a more consistent cutting of the curd matt.
Perfect for wider machines or machines cutting hard curds, the QuadCut mill reduces cutting load on the machine without reducing machine capacity.
